Default Number Plate

Hello,
I wanted to know the law regarding the number plate on the front of the bike.
I have a Suzuki Intruder (M1800R) and this bike does not have any provision to put a number plate in the front!

Can someone advise whether it is OK to not have a number plate on the front and if not, what can I do to fix one and where on this bike?

Thanks

Anurag

Query Approved.

I don't think it's okay to just paint the registration number on the front mud-guard, but then people with imported machines do not really have any other option but to do the same. So, I guess, you don't really have any other option for the same.

When I went in suzuki showroom, almost all bikes had their numbers painted on the front mudguard. So I think it's pretty ok.
