filter for unicorn!

    filter for unicorn!

    ok query is:-
    which air filter of different bike or car or truck can be fitted on unicorn or any 4T bike , which has shape like K&N-filter .. want to chk if it can b done other wise will go for k&n!!

    plus i have following doubts too:-

    1] if i fit filter directly to carb ,then it will b exposed to enviorment .. so isnt it will be damaged by dust and debris!

    2] life of filter if i keep it like that !!

    i want to do this coz i need space for sm mod under the seat... and stock filter hold quite a big space there!

      idont know abt the car and bike filters but u got a green filter for the uni..
      used the rc 1060 my self and fitted it directly to the carb and used for abt 8.8k km(before i lost it!!!)
      it was fine and do get some amt of rejetting done..
      u could either go for a bigger jet or oversize ur existing jet...
      both the green and k&n cost the same and r mostly similar..(

        kn filter is last option.. b4 that i would like to tryout sm bigger filters from other automobile catagory that will surely enhance naked look at minimum cost!

          high poly bike u see..
          the bigger the filter the more upjetting required...
          and i takes a lot of testing and patentice..

            A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

            Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

                    so i removed the entire airfilter box of the pulsar and fitted the filter...
                    before completing the installation my friend took the bike for a TEST RIDE and after he came back there was no filter and the pipe....
