Default Removing the stickers. . .

I have the second edition of honda unicorn.i would like to remove all the stickers in the petrol tank as well as on the sides below the seat.how to remove those stickers without leaving any marks? When i tried to remove the sticker,it left the same shape as the sticker. Is there any coating above the sticker and the petrol tank. I would like to fit the metallic honda symbol like the one used in the third edition of unicorn.where to get it and how to fit that one.?

The mark is from glue used to stick the sticker !!
Spray the place with WD 40 and scrub it gently. Depending on the amount of dirt the glue has attracted, you might need to do it 3-4 times !! Alternatvely rub that area with some petrol although I haven't tried this.

Factory stickers are generally clear coated alongwith the paint&hence permanent. Other normal sticker marks can easily be removed, by dipping a cloth in petrol&rubbing it over lightly. Be careful not to rub too much as this can fade the paint. If the wing embossed logo is of the same shape as the sticker, don't bother about the marks underneath&stick it directly over it.
Else you might have to get a small touchup job done.

after removing the stickers give it a good wash with soap, and then get a good painter to do a mild rubbing job on it
