Arrow Tyre and Engine Oil

I have unicorn... and have clocked almost 31500 kms....

1. I have not got the tires (rear/Front) changed.... I am not sure weather I should change them now or not ... Need your advice... (if yes... can you suggest which 1 I should go for.. and what would be the price range ? I dont have any clue )

2. Recently I heard about something called Fully Synthetic Engine Oil (which comes around Rs. 700 .. thats what my friend said) is that good for the engine... is it worth ? and does it make any difference ?

Query Approved.

Your query is not really clear. I understand you are looking to get your tyres changed, but then why does your query title mention the 'Engine Oil' part. Where is that query of yours? Please be more specific when stating your requirement/ query.

Yes fully synth oils like power1 racing and motul300v fl cost around 700 . unless you ride for long periods of time and rip your bike crazy theres not gonna be much use of the expensive oil. They also have longer drain period than the mineral oils .

why dont you try the semi-synth oils from Veedol, motul ,shell .they are better than mineral oil and also arent expensive -[200-400rs] . just buy the right oil for your bike.

Shell doesnt have any SS or FS in India. It has but it is for cars(Wet clutch) and it comes under the name Shell Helix!

Veedol Super Swift 10W40
Motul 5100 15W50
Valvoline Premium 4T 20W50
Castrol Power 1 15W40

All above are SS oils.

They cost anywhere b/w 280~350 INR.

If u want FS,u have
Motul 300V 5W40/15W50
Castrol Power 1 Racing 20W40
Petronas Sprinta 10W40

Motul is the costliest and the best,Castrol has mixed reviews, Petronas is great VFM.
