  • Help regarding alloys for avenger

Hey guys!! I am thinking of buying chrome alloys with my first salary for my avenger. Can anyone tell me if these lead to a drop in mileage?? And will they pose any problem in the long run? I do a long trip once or twice in 6 months or so...

All depends on the strength, quality and weight of the alloys !!
if they are heavier, it'll increase the unsprung weight of the bike and even put more pressure on the wheel bearings, not to mention increase the braking distnace as the wheels are carrying more momentum (in the same way, as a higher flywheel in the crank, increases the torque) !!
Kawasaki Ninja : Because lazy sunday afternoons should be despatched at 160 kmph!!!
Hyosung Aquila : Because sometimes you need to look cool while riding at 40 kmph and you can do that only on a cruiser !!!
