Default what to do to save Legend

After so many years of fun, it started consuming engine oil, 1 liter in 1.5 month, so searched few mechanics who do piston job on 4-stroke machines, & found one who do 4-5 piston change in a week , i buyed all parts {best quality available} myself & gave them to mechanic to put them in scooter{he does all work under my eyes, so took two days}
now upto 500km i didn`t took the scooter above 45km/hr{no tacho is there, so feeling the engine & ride accordingly} at 500 km first service is done & upto 700 km i didn`t took the scooter above 50km/hr, then on a short trip took it to 63km/hr & after 1400km tried to check the top speed found it to be shameful 80km/hr, still driving it below 62km/hr yesterday checked it`s top speed found it 75 km/hr, pick-up is acceptable in first 3 gears but you put the fourth one & it ruins the party it feels like engine have no power to pull engine is heating up quickly & is in great strain & also the fuel efficiency dropped now it is giving me around 35km/liter but still the torque is good ,the scooter start moving from stand still in 4th gear
earlier, before the piston change the top speed was 105km/hr pick-up was mind-blowing it make those 13bhp bikes to run for their life, cruses at 80km/hr without any strain on engine, fuel efficiency was around 47km/liter{average riding}
now what should i do to get my legend back[please don`t suggest to sell the legend]

Just run it more frequently and go high speeds let the engine open..

i really dont understand the funda of keeping rite 40 KM for some hundreds km/s.

its just that you dont have to keep the bike in a revrange that it heats up thats what runnin is.

when my RX was in running i was doing more than 100 on the second day. i never did less tan 70 on the NH8 even when the bike was under 200 KM's. bike is running fine.

so dont care for it too much
treat it as a machine dont feel bad if you rip it too much.

it`s good to hear that your RX is running well,but my question is why the scoot is loosing performance as well as economy to such a low level

my friend`s lml select 2nd, after piston work, goes to 90km/hr(earlier it goes upto 85) & economy is dropped a lil bit or may be same which is great, but why such bad thing happened to my scooter

Bad rebore job would be the problem for performance & mileage going down.

if clearances are not set rite these are bound to happen.

a) Go to next oversize piston ( rebore to next over size )

b) Buy a new bore piston kit ..

Dont be fooled by there words. They all are bunch of crap. They will fool you with those words saying that they have done that done this. Its better to find one of your friends who know technically or try taking it to the service centre guys who have already worked on your machine. After market mechanics just try to make money by showing off.
