Your dealer simply dumped you with a 2008 model.

Since it's registered in you name, you cannot do anything other than fight it at the Consumer court.

Also, you'll lose a year's value during selling time !

Please new buyer reply me, I don’t want to become victim on purchase of this legend.
If its a showroom r15. Sadly enough, the dealer has cheated on u. When you buy a bike brand new outa da showroom, its should have 2009 model specified on it. Its sep 2009 n so the dealer should have given you 2009 model. Yeah, i agree you have lost some value coz its 2008 model. Drag the dealer in da consumer court. Dont worry abt time. Probably u might also have 2010 model if the consumer court deals with the dealer well. The dealer should be taught a lesson.

But showroom guys has booked 5 more blue color R15 bike and all are 2008 model. I don't think showroom have that much have stock. as per he said, they received old stock from yamaha itself.

Now i want to check any new owner of blue R15 have same issue, if not then i will take initiative, I don't want to fight with Yamaha itself.

                      Dear Jiten,

My bro too got the same thing with his ZMA way back in Feb'08....

U make it very very clear with those Yamaha showroom people that if any single problem comes up within this warranty period for your R15, U must get it all repaired or replaced by them without a single if's-&-but's.

I feel pity Jiten that some dealers like yours are spoiling Yamaha's name, U should better put a mail to Yamaha head-office/company making this type of blunders to be brought to light.

You must be the change you wish to see in the world

                        Thanks thunderbird_m6,

What will be impact in future of old model apart from re-sell value might be less?
Have your brother face any issue with ZMA just because of old model?

But they give promise that you will get to all the warranty and service which Yamaha provide. I am not understand that who is more faulty, Yamaha India or Showroom peoples?
