Post Pick Up came down after first service

I have CBZ Xtreme 2009 model, 1000kms.. 3 weeks back I gave it for the first service, after the service I noticed couple of problems

1. The pick up has came down. Initially I thought it could be because of the petrol what I use so tried filling my bike from a different pump but no difference .

2. I could notice when I take my bike in the early morning there is a missing if I accelerate for couple of seconds it will be back to normal else it takes 3-5 seconds to get back on track.

Last week I tested my machines mileage I got 53 KM/Liter tested with a speed of 45-50 Km/hr . I'm not sure whether the show room guys did something made some adjustments to reduce the pickup for mileage or there is some problem with my Bike. Before first servicing I was riding him with a max speed of 50 Km/Hr. After First service most of the times its 60-65 Km/hr. If I get a vacant free road he touches 80 - 90 Km/Hr. And I reached a max speed of 115 Km/hr on Highway. Does this acceleration caused any damage to the engine Is it Ok to ride the bike in this speed after the first service. So all u gurus out there what U think about this Scenario??

1) see fuel whether 91octane or even 97 octane..... shows only little or microscopic increase in mileage or power..its just tat more refined fuel burns much better....

2) kindly reframe ur second problem..... u mean to say misfiring ?

3) the showroom guys might have re tuned ur carb... to put it to stock settings if they find the settings to be altered... u may go to ur mech and get the old setting u had done..next time ask showroom ppl not tot alter settings...

u can increase ur bikes speed depending on ur wish.staying in a good economic range is advice able. ... after the service , and after an oil change the engine would be free.. so its pretty ok to be at 50-60...
once in a while touching speeds of such has no problem or ill effects on ur bike...but make sure u don carry on att high speeds for too long.. ur still in the running in period i suppose..after 3rd or 4th service u may enjoy ur bikes potential

First of all Thanks for your reply.

Second problem is whan I start my Bike In the moring It shows some symptoms as if like engine is gonna off. Same feeling and sounds what you get when you are out of fuel while riding. If I accelerate a bit it will be alright. This happens only if i keep my bike idle for 10 - 12 hrs and start it again. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure whether the showroom guys did tuned my carb. But I didn't make any changes to the carb tuning. I kept those setting same as it is when they delivered my bike, I gave it for my first service with the same company settings.
So does this mean that, if showroom guys did a carb tuning then the poor pick up is the after math of that. I heard Usually they does this tunig on the first service. if they didn't do what could be the other reasons.

Second problem (its not a problem actually): Any cold engine behaves in a similar way, especially the carb ones. couple of mintues of idling will make engine warm and the RPM will be consistent. To put in simpler terms...You are lazy when you wake up in the morning, as you start with your routine activites you become active.

everytime you start your bike in the morning...keep it in idle for atleast a minute or two.

Fall in pickup can be of many reasons, Better check that out at service center itself.

Same experience here. Which city are you in, btw? Both performance and fuel efficiency dropped after 1st free service. Service centers are very well known for raping bikes. If you really want to avoid this, dont let your bike out of sight... you have to be with it all the time and catch them before they screw up.

Good luck in getting things back to the way they were... not easy!
