    [Photo Feature]: The Real 'One' - Home-coming of 2010 Yamaha R1!

    Everyone including me got excited hearing about a 2010 R1 appearing on xbhp ! I was like, oh no someone beat me to it.....
    But that was a disappointment.

    So I thought of keeping the excitement alive in some way. The package has left New Delhi and would be here by the week end ....

    So keep a look out for this space

    Ah! Finally, the cat is out of the bag! BRILLIANT piece of news there fireblah. I was expecting this sooner or later, and feel honored to be able to approve this.

    So, do you get to keep BOTH the big machines - the 1000RR, and the 2010 R1? Man, some people do have luck (coupled with hard work, but ofcourse). What colors are available for the official 2010 R1? And what is the color that you have got? Do let us know.

    Do accept my congratulations beforehand, and I am sure you would be sharing the experience of the new 2010 R1, with us, in each stage with photographs and text like you did for your CBR. This is REALLY exciting! I can barely hold back myself; I cannot even fathom what YOU might be feeling...

      ^^ Thank you... for your congratulations and approval.
      I think three colour options are available in India for 2010 R1, Blue, Black and White (I am not sure of the alt. combo colour in each). But mine would be White-red.
      A grand welcome is expected for the bike. Yes, my first love 1000RR is still with us

        Woah! Congratulations! I am booking my tickets for Kolkatta, I am sure you will need someone to ride the Blade alongside (unless you have talents like Ajay Devgan!)

            Congrats man! Came sort of close to swapping mine for the 2010, but decided against it. Like you, I have something else lined up

            In the meantime, till then, post up pics. It will be a treat for us.

                      wish I had talents like him.... 1000 ccs beneath each leg ! But apparently the main reason behind this bike was that my elder brother used to feel "left out" when I took blade for a ride with other friends. Now he can come along too! We were joking that whenever a turn or a roundabout comes, he is gonna leave us behind because of "cross plane crank shaft being quick in turns" syndrome !

                      This bike of ours has been ordered for the last 3 months, so strange they have already got it in Mumbai, and Kolkata it took so much time....

                      I was in europe for a month, was smitten by the European beauties there..(like aprilia, triumph, ducati,bmw). Nothing lined up as yet, but maybe one of those next time (whenever that is)
