    Yamaha R15 / HH ZMR

    hi guys,

    I own a 2006 model pulsar 150 (45k Kms) . Now i wish to change my bike .


    Budget : Around 1 lakh

    Need : need a powerful and stylish bike .

    I am 5 feet 6 inches long and weighs 75kg . I am confused between Yamha R15 and HH ZMR . It will be used for a daily 10 km to and fro from office . And weekly 150 to and fro rides .

    Also if anyone could post original user pictures of both bikes ,it would be greatly appreciated.

    Also i need suggestions on bike colur

      Go for R-15. Better than ZMR for your indicated use.

          R15 it is...colours are subjective IMO.I personally like sunset yellow and yamaha colours ie blue...
          It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

                        Both bikes can now be termed as OLD-FASHIONED, suggest u to wait till April as TVS is coming up with A-220... 22bhp 220cc 150kmph.

                        U should not be cursing yourself later. Remember...there is always a choice. Hold on for a while, who might know that FZ-250 might also surfaces up... remember that in 2008 1st quarter, FZ16 mule was caught testing on highways.

                        I myself is refraining otherwise I'd had taken p220 last week itself, was hoping too much from Auto Expo this year but there was none to be cheered for.

                            The most powerful bike that would be available for 1 lakh today would be the r15. It is light weight, has the most advanced engine among Indian bikes today, has fuel injection, liquid cooling etc.. and the 150cc engine produces around 18bhp of power. The monoshock suspension is great and riding position is sporty. The only disadvantages would be
                            1. the real performance of this bike comes above 100 km speed. Thus at low end and mid end, the bike doesn't show much superior performance
                            2. The seating position is low slung and may cause pain in the long run.
                            3. This is best suited for speeding and racing and comparatively lesser when compared to the karizma for touring and highway trips.


                            The advantages of karizma compared to the r15 would be
                            1. best seating position and smooth ride
                            2. pgm fi offers good mileage as compared to the r15 around 40-45km. This is the best tourer than the r15 and p220.

                            So based on your requirements, the r15 would be the best.
                            Reduce 1 km/hr speed, add 1second 2 ur life.

                              there is nothing below 5000rpm in all 6 gears, post(7000rpm) she can surprise you in the first 3 gears at least

                              The advantages of karizma compared to the r15 would be

                              2. pgm fi offers good mileage as compared to the r15 around 40-45km.
                              an R15 can give ~50kmpl when cruising at @5K in top gear
                              and how can a heavier, bigger cc motorcycle give better FE?
                              when an R15 too comes with light and less darg prone tires, aerodynamic body, liquid cooling and FI too

                              This is the best tourer than the r15 and p220.
                              depends what you from your motorcycle and how you tour?
