A mention of your usage of the bike will help a bit...the twister is stylish for sure and returns good fuel eco too...P135 is a great option,do hv a td of it...About the gladi and SZ,I'm sure P135 betters it to some extent though the latter is yet to be released
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

I checked out pulsar 135ls.. but dint like it as pulsars r common thesedays.. daily usage of my bike would be around 12kms within the city.. so bike with initial picup would be great.. im really confused..

For budget below 60k, You can also check CBF Stunner. Saw the twister 2 days back in Chennai.Design and the paint finish was very good, The bikes which you have mentioned are good and reliable .Test ride each vehicle then pick the bike which is close to your heart, you will never regret.

Twister will give good mileage compared to other bikes(i think)...
SZ is not released yet. so can't comment.

About Gladiator SS-my roommate owns one and i would say it is the very best in it's class... the bike really nice power upto 80kmhr... 60-80kmhr range it is as good as a 150cc bike(which i am comparing with my FZ16)... its an awesome bike with good looks.

The downside of the bike is its mileage, coz my friend is getting 45-50... but mind you he's a guy who rides his Gladi ALWAYS above 70/75... may be that's the reason...

if you are mileage conscious i better say stick onto the Twister itself...

My opinion is also consider the Stunner too, a very good bike...

Is there any confirmed news of Yamaha SZ coming in the market? Because in AutoExpo, wasn't it shown as a concept?

I think nobody can guarantee these things until they see/test in reality. So you would get to know these things after it comes in the marker in Feb (??? this feb ???)

Dude...In india more than bike's quality what matter's is word of mouth...People rely on their friend's or neighbour's decision more than their own ...Thats why we at xBhp always ask people to have a TD first and then decide. Moreover after-market service also matters a lot.

Am from JP,Nagar ph-2. right behind the HONDA showroom. Have seen teh twister in flesh. Looks really menacing.

EDIT : Go and have a TD of the CBF-stunner. I would say it fits your budget and looks super(provided you dont have issues with fixed faring).

As far as the 100/125 cc bikes are concerned the main market goes to HH and Bajaj...
coz HH gives good mileage and maintenance is less... even if the maintenance occurs the parts are cheap(eg:- HH Splendor/Passion).
Low CC bajaj bikes gives descent power and very good mileage, but the quality of parts are not very good.

So one person who's looking for a 100/125 CC bikes prefer more mileage than power, which Yamaha Gladi struggles in mileage department... that's why Gladi is not seen on roads compared to other bikes in that category.... My 2 cents...

Precisely! Consumer has yet to get more educated in this area. When I decided to purchase a bike. I did so by reading hundred of pages here in xBhp as well as other sources and I bought my bike without posting a single post .
My reason was two fold. One, I wasn't particularly interest in opinions. Two, there is already more than enough information to address all my queries.

One - It's upto personal interest.

Two - +1 to that... coz there are lots and lots of information is currently available here in xbhp about all the queries we have in our mind. just take time to read all the posts which many of us don't do. infact posting another thread or so.
