For a family bike look, go for the passion pro else the bajaj discover dtsi 100cc is great. The discover is currently the highest mileage bike in our country with mileages of 80 plus.
The new passion plus is just the old bike with new stickers but it is one of the 5 highest selling bikes in India and comes with the trusted services of Hero Honda. I suggest the Passion if you want a trouble free bike and the discover for economy mode.
        Reduce 1 km/hr speed, add 1second 2 ur life.

          Honda CB Twister or Stunner

Honda CB Twister or Stunner will do
its good at milage, quality and look

          or

he can also look at the Pulsar 135 LS

tell him to try test drive on all the above

simply mileage alone doesn't matter should look out for comfort and style too
Sarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity

Currently Using Gusto |Enfield Bullet 500 | Ecosport Titanium+ Diesel

Pulsar 135 which costs around 57K is a very good option coz it's mileage is around 65 when ridden well and also topspeed is really good
anyway bajaj bikes are anyday better if he's looking for both fuel efficiency as well as top speed though quality isn't the best

HI rajesh you could also consider CB twister.its a better bike than all his options and being honda you get the best thing which many avoid during their initial search which is reliability. And honda are the best

I will rather ride a slow bike fast than riding a fast bike slow.

Forget passion and splendor, they are of no use(personal thought)
                  look for these 2
                  1.Yamaha Gladiator
fuel average is about 56-60kmpl in city riding, good power delivery, also looks cool, built quality is better then passion and splendor, can be used on highways as well.

                  2. Pulsar 135LS
fuel average is about 55kmpl, awesome power delivery and handling,
it can even beat 150cc's (R15 is exception)
can cruse at 100+ speeds (i have done this) with almost no vibrations.
