G2G Planning thread approved

Great initiative Aditya! Please use this thread to discuss and finalize the G2G details, after thats done I will start another thread titled as the 'Official G2G' thread for the combined G2G. If this goes well I will create a logo for this like I did for the Tristate Meet,.

so bbsr xbhpians have to come up with something..
this is the road map from bbsr-kolkatta..i dont have much idea about that part of orissa still baripada and baleshwar are nice place to visit..

So when do we schedule the g2g???

Awesome.

I think both the parties should meet somewhere between Kol-BBSR i.e Chandbali/Chandipur or something like that.That way it would be feasible and also as the rains have just started so we should like to keep it short and limited for only a day.

Need more thoughts to pour-in regarding the G2G.

Would be proceeding with the final ride date sometime in August.
Since the rains are in,the month of July has to be spared.Our ride would involve the weekend days of Friday,Saturday and Sunday.
The Plan that we Kolkata Xbhpians have in mind is that we shall visit Bhubaneshwar to meet the Xbhpians there.The next week,the BBSR Xbhpians can ride into Kolkata to meet us.

We plan to start from Kolkata from very early morning of Friday and ride till evening till we reach BBSR.After refreshing there we can have dinner with our BBSR comrades.The next day we want to ride together to places as Konark and Puri.Then on the third day again we begin early in the morning from Orissa and end up in Kolkata by evening.

The similar schedule can be followed by,BBSR bhpians.They visit and dine with us on the Friday,visit the Kolkata scenic locales followed by Bakkhali or Digha the next day and then they can head back for BBSR the next day which would be the Sunday.

We would ride with them on Sunday till the West Bengal borders as we expect our BBSR comrades to do the see off on the day of return till Orissa border.

If we plan it this way,then it will be one of the big Gigantic Interstate G2G.

Please put in opinions over this plan as base........

i think july 3rd week or 4th week will be better because in august rain gonna increase...

and riding down upto kolkatta will not be posible for me because i have to ride 300 kms to reach bbsr itself..g2g in bbsr or around baleswar will be where i can be.. what about others..what are your sugestions

I am also looking forward to this. Balasore should be an ideal place for us. We can visit Chandipur, have lunch at the Pantha nivas. From kolkata it should be 220 kms odd.Chicane,Raman dying to meet you all.

Ok, I have got two plans.

Plan-A
BBSR and Kolkata Bikers leave early morning towards Balasore.As the place comes just about midway both the teams would reach the place approximately at the same time.We can have lunch at Chandipur and visit nearby beaches. By around 4-5P.M we should retreat back to respective destinations.

Plan-B

Would be same as Plan-A but instead Kolkata xBhpians will visit BBSR escorted by BBSR xBhpians.Reach BBSR at around 8 P.M and leave for Puri/Konark the next day(or may be continue to Puri all the way). The next day places in and around Puri(Konark, Pipili) can be covered but this itinerary would mean a 3 day trip for Kolkata xBhpians.

I would still opt for Plan A, though.
