    Kolkata xBhp: Independence Day Ride 2010

    Disclaimer: Please be aware that although xBhp takes all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of the riders, any untoward incidents that afflict any of the riders or rider is his or their sole responsibility.


    Guys we have never had a Independence Day Ride in calcutta so i was thinking if all kolkata xBhpians would join in and make this day memorable.

    Things We Need To Finalize:
    City or Highway ?
    Time & Meeting Point ?
    Places where we can ride through & get people's/bikers attention ?
    Indian Flag stickers on the front glass of our bikes or on shirts/T-shirts we will be wearing or Flags ?


    This post will be edited on 31st July with necessary informations.

    Ps: Keep confirming and i will keep addding the names in this 1st post. Once everything is finalized it will be updated here we have tim till 31st July to Final everything.

      I am Obviously IN "No matter how the weather is"

      My suggestions

      1. Highway & City both have their pros/cons
      eg: highways wont draw any attention, but will be fun. In the city we will be noticed and we can plan a route and ride in formation, will be easy on the pocket. so we need to vote on that.

      2. Highway Ride timings around 10ish & City Ride around 12ish

      3. City: Red Road, AJC flyover, Bhawanipur area's/Balwant Dhaba, Parkstreet, Ballygunge Sharma Dhaba, Saltlake & Rajarhat/Bus Stand/Stunt Grounds.
      Highway: we will just ride for fun but azad hind dhaba is just so obvious so i'm not that interested there so we can ride on delhi road around 70kms & stop at a bus bay hangout and find a place to eat somewhere. But if everyone wants to go where they are sure of then we can do 75kms to Shere Punjab on Bombay Road & hang out there.

          city ride would be a better plan i hope.......people will notice us in that case

                              It is a really nice idea.......always had sought to ride our bikes in groups on the Independence day....hence,it goes without saying that I am riding too
