BIKE IN THE RANGE 3-4 Lacs
HI all, I don't have much idea about bikes. I am planning to buy a new bike in the range 3-4 Lacs. So thought of Ninja 250. So is it a correct decision or can i wait for few months for a better bike? I need stylish and also powerfull like R6. Can any body suggest me?

Stylish, the Ninja 250R is, but if you expect it to be anywhere near an R6 (going by your expectations), you would be utterly disappointed. Use it as a 250cc machine and I bet you would be mighty pleased with the tiny 250cc heart.
As for waiting longer for a machine, you might just want to wait for the 650R from Kawasaki which will be launched sometime later this year, if inside sources are to be believed. That is supposed to be competitively priced, somewhere in the range of Rs.5.5 - 6.00 lakhs odd.:) -
if you can save some more hyosung's gt650r is also getting launched according to bike india magazine and will be priced at around4-5l it is a beautiful machine...churning around 80ps pf power and capable of speeds in the range of 200kmph... check out this months august issue for more info...Timon: Orange Yamaha FZ16 2009

Here are your options
Hyosung 650 = 5.5 - 6 lakh approx
Ninja 250 = 3 lakhs on-road
Forget the ninja 650, it will be a minimum of 1-1.5 lakh more expensive than Hyosung.Comment
