    About The Mahindra Group

Mahindra embarked on its journey in 1945 by assembling the Willys Jeep in India and is now a US $7.1 billion Indian multinational. It employs over 1,00,000 people across the globe and enjoys a leadership position in utility vehicles, tractors and information technology, with a significant and growing presence in financial services, tourism, infrastructure development, trade and logistics. The Mahindra Group today is an embodiment of global excellence and enjoys a strong corporate brand image.

Mahindra is the only Indian company among the top tractor brands in the world. It is today a full-range player with a presence in almost every segment of the automobile industry, from two-wheelers to CVs, UVs, SUVs and sedan. Mahindra recently acquired a majority stake in REVA Electric Car Co Ltd. (now called Mahindra REVA), strengthening its position in the Electric Vehicles domain.

Mahindra has established the rodeo and duro brand in much more better way than expected, the best thing is they are true to their customers (Personal Experience) dont play hidden games like Honda or Hero Honda does, where they say to one customer waiting period is 2 months and from behind sell to other customer in black without a single day waiting.

          279%??? WHAAAT???
But who's buying the Rodeos & Duro? Can someone help me understand?

          But on a second thought
Mahindra Two Wheelers today announced that its sales for the month of August 2010 stood at 15165 units, as against 4005 units in August 2009, an increase of 279%
Quite possible; because its just 40 scooters per month per dealer, which is 1.3 scooter per day

Total cumulative sales from April to August 2010 stood at 54261 units, as compared to 12948 units for the same period last year, an increase of 319%
Again here it is, 29.3 scooter per month per dealer, which is 0.97 scooter per day.

i do see a lot of flytles, rodeos and duros on road these days..if only they bring out some new launches in other segments soon, the trust in mahindra 2-wheelers will grow amongst the general public even more..
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

their scoots are pretty good...i ve ridden the duro and it has a very good engine comparable to access...the quality of parts and finish are not as comparable....however i feel that the biggest reason for their jump in sales due to the looongg waiting period for the honda activa which diverts most of the buyers to other alternatives in this segment
