  • First Solo Trip to Malsejh Gath from Mumbai

After Joining Xbhp I was very much inspired to read the blogs of the solo riders who travel very long distances. I thought of covering 300 kms drive in a day. Since I recently moved to Mumbai, I don't know many places. After doing some research on the net about some of the places close by I found this place called “Malsejh Gath” its almost 150 Km from Mumbai.
I called some of my friends no one seemed liking I went alone. I started early in the morning around 7.00am all set for the exciting trip with my bike in full condition. Though the climate was little cloudy, I started the journey with full of josh. Despite the rains I managed to drive and enjoying every second of the journey, I reached “Powai.

Stopping by the high ways, I stood amazed gazing at the beautiful view of the lake shot a picture of the cloudy sky and the still water facing the Eastern Express. Cool breeze, dashing climate I took off from there, took me an hour to reach the busy cities of Mumbai traveled through kalyan I reached the foot of the hills had a break again had a quick look at the nature and the place outside the city.

by 10:00 am I was in the middle of the dense forest where I couldnt find any one except me.
By 11:00 Am Reached the hill top

Misty Hills Almost driving in 20's and 30's

Beautiful scenic spot where the falls was just touching the road. Some really crossed the road with a gap in between Where you can drive thru falling water. I have n't seen such a nice spot in my life.

Because the photos was taken from my mobile Cam the Resolution is not good
Finaly I enjoyed the whole day of abt 294 Kms I reached home by 5:30 Pm Soon Planing for the next ride.

First solo rides are always fun and memorable for a long long time. They teach you a lot of things rather I would say introduce you to a lot of things and aspects of touring on motorcycle. Congrats for your maiden voyage!

        Keep Riding!

i'd say you made a very good choice by going there on a weekday...we had gone there on a sunday and that place was a mess.
i couldn't believe my eyes when i saw the stretch of road in pic 5....that day there were atleast 100people in that tiny stretch

I think i know less than what you think i know.
