I am 23 and of height 5'4'' and weight 57kgs. I don't have much biking experience, though I know to drive. I want to buy a bike, for traveling in city, in and around Bangalore.
I was very impressed with Honda CB Twister.. it looks good, and it's reviews on pickup, performance, mileage and handling are very good. I have almost decided on picking up this one.. but just some queries.
1. Is a front disc essential for this bike? I am confused about this.. some say it's a light less powerful bike.. so you can sudden brake with drum only even at around 60kmph. Also risk of noob driver of not using disc brake carefully. Some others say disc is very useful in a city like Bangalore for sudden braking... where traffic is little rash.
The thing is.. it makes a difference of almost 4k.. so with-disc.. comes to more than 60K.. which feels costly. And i also read that the front disc of twister is not too great.
2. Also.. is the rear tyre too thin to risk safety? I have come across this point in quite a few forums.. Another point I came across is that in muddy/wet conditions the chain-set gets spoilt and got to be cleaned.
3. Because there is too much plastic.. will repair cost become too costly if bike falls down? And will the bike lose it's impressive looks.. if it falls down once or twice?
4. What are the useful accessories that must be bought?
That said, I feel twister is a great bike.. i went for a short test ride in that.. and I could feel comfortable and confident while driving the bike.
I realise that there are more powerful bikes like Pulsar 135 / Shine 125 almost in same price range.. but I guess I will start with a less powerful bike.

coz.. Honda's spares are costly.. others like Yamaha, Bajaj offer cheaper spares in comparision.
