    Yamaha - Sri Motors Chennai

    Hello,
    Until now I have been a very silent (but very interested) member of this forum. I got by bike serviced last week and finally decided that the time was right to break my silence and actually contribute something to this forum.


    Anyway finally decided that the time was right to service the bike and thanks to inputs from friends and this forum decided to give it to Sri Motors in Jaffarkhanpet in Chennai.
    Changed a lot of spares (clutch plates, cables, Starter assy and few small bushes/ bolts and stuff) and 4k later the bike really feels smooth to ride and I have to admit that the Service center has done a decent job.

    Cons: Customer service is quite pathetic, they had by bike for a week due to spares backlog and I all follow-up calls were from my end, as per the expected calls from them giving an update on the status.

    As said before, if all you are looking for is a general service I would recommend Sri Motors.

        can any one tell me any other service center in chennai which is good? sriram motors is very far for me.
        My bike is having a problem that it wont start if i keep it in sun for about half an hour or more.
        had already given to raj yamaha several times, but no use.

        Please help

          SRI Motors offers the best service in Chennai, up to my knowledge.

          The have helped me towing my bike to their workshop . when my bike used to fail very often due to some immature modds. The never charged anything.

          If you have any peculiar or nagging issues, ask for Manager Suresh and talk to him. He will take personal care on your bike.

                do they service old bikes or latest models too? I've an issue with my disc brakes that i would like someone other than stupid pbk to take a look at.

                    I see the last post made on this thread was more than a year ago.

                    Can anyone tell me if it is still the best Yamaha Service Center in Chennai or has it gone worse?

                    If So which is the best Service Center in Chennai currently?
