  • How to update your RC once you change your Bike's color?

So, the problem is I changed my bike's color.
Its not a problem actually but I don't wanna get in any problem so asking here if anyone knows how to get RC (Registration Card) updated once you change your bike or car color, help me out.

I am not able to find anything related to it in Google or anywhere.
I hope any senior member knows about it.

*Mods can move it to correct section if I posted in wrong one.

If you've time & patience - visit your RTO & start from the peon ; if you don't - approach a reliable driving school.

you will have to go to the local RTO, apply for a change of information in the R/C booklet, Similar to changing a mis-spelt name etc. However, you will have to arrange for the bike for inspection when the officer asks for it.

Alright and do they take any money for it?

When I asked my dealer he said no problem since you have put a company provided color only as pulsar comes in black too.

              What a dumb ass dealer
If the color of your Pulsar is not the same as the color mentioned in your RC book, be prepared for the consequence, no matter its company, emulsion or distemper

Re: How to update your RC once you change your Bike's color?

@Digital_shubhi , I know it's too late to ask, but did you update your RC ?

Anyone else changed their bike color and updated the RC recently ?
It's the journey that matters, not the destination.

Re: How to update your RC once you change your Bike's color?

I hav did passing of my 15 year old bike which is in black color and rc book have blue color mention on it. They just checked my chassis number and nothing else. Plus i did passing without help of agent in mumbai rto.. Agent was asking 2500 for color update of bike in rc. Traffic police hardly notice color of bike. Color change becomes problematic during claiming of insurance.

Want to change the colour of my RS200.

Guys.. I want to change the colour of my RS200.
Right now its Passion Red, i had a crash recently so the fairing are to be replaced.
I am thinking of getting graphite black

The problem is how to change it on the RC book?

                        What are the procedures?

                        How much will it costs?

                        Thanks in Advance 😊

You could buy some wrap vinyl from Ebay and install it on your own if you have a heat gun or hair dryer😃😃
