  • First Diavel Burnout by an Indian : Ducati Diavel Tested by xBhp in China!

The title is probably true. I had the good fortune of testing the Diavel here in China over a closed circuit and doing some nice stuff on it while at it. A detailed impression will follow later but for now i can only say it brings out the Devil in you, yes it does.

Is that where the number plate is supposed to be? Not a big fan of the bikes styling. And how come only one teaser pic?

Sunny, you ve made the bike so good looking in this pic .
I agree with neil, find everything so disproportionate in the design of this duc unlike its other Italian sisters. looks like Duc is going the Beemer way !!

Exactly.. Its a design which will grow on you.. And once you start liking it.. You will be able to connect to the thoughts of designers of this bike.

This is some different breed of bike and I love this one over all other Ducatis.

                      To me...
The front reminds of V-Rod but I assume Diavel has a slight back mounted foot pegs instead of forward. The back virtually has nothing & I wonder what would be the pillion comfort

The former Confederate Motorcycles Designer, JT Nessbit had labeled the Diave as a failure and a 'monumental breach of brand trust and honesty' referring to the 240mm rear which would 'supposedly' compromise the performance ethics of a Ducati (like in the other cruisers viz Suzuki Intruder).

Of course this statement was made even before any Diavel hit the road, even for company testing.

I, like many others discovered, that not only he will eat his world, the Diavel has all the ingredients of becoming a cult bike - and unlike anything this world has seen.

As far as the looks are concerned, I personally just think its out of the future and I have yet to see a bike with a finish quality like this.

Complete impression with pics coming soon!
