Piaggio has started taking bookings for the Aprilia RSV4 Factory in India. The RSV4 Factory has been priced at Rs. 13 lakhs for the base variant and Rs. 18 lakh for the top end variant. The RSV4 Factory deliveries will start by the end of next month. The company is very positive about the sales of its superbikes and will introduce the Vespa brand of scooters in 2012 to capitalise on the growing two-wheeler market in the country.


The RSV4 is powered by a 999.60 cc,V4 four-stroke engine producing 180PS of peak power at 12500 rpm and peak torque of 115.00 Nm at 10000 rpm.
As reported earlier, Piaggio also plans to introduce the Vespa range of scooters in India by 2012, starting with the LX125.
