Discover 150cc ad (two kids comparing 150cc & 100cc), shows that Bajaj wants to pull in customers from 100cc (splendor to be precise) !
Now for 125cc Discover Bajaj expects probable 125cc customer to be attracted towards Disc125cc ?
        Strategies are vague !

O.T.-Bro, it is discover 150 itself in the ad with other 100cc bike. The kid on it pretends to stop using disc brake for girl.

OT : Looks 2 me, quite similar to Mahindra stalloi. These Heros are seriously on Self Destruction mode. It looks totally out of proportion & fugly with the tiny winy tank scoops. And is that Achiever's front ??

yes Bajaj's going the right way.........Hero is soon going to be the thing of past.....

Bajaj launches Discover 125cc in Tamil Nadu, expects sales to grow to 1.5 lakh per mo

                        PTI, Apr 20, 2011, 05.42pm IST

COIMBATORE: Bajaj Auto Ltd today launched its new Discover 125cc motorcycle in the Tamil Nadu market and expects the sales volume of their Discover brand to grow to 1.5 lakh per month this fiscal.

"With the launch of Discover 125 cc, we expect the sales volume of our Discover brand to rise to 1.5 lakh per month for 2011-12 fiscal from the present 1.2 lakh," Bajaj Auto Zonal Manager Motorcycle Business Guruprasad told reporters here.

He added that out of the 30,000 monthly addition of vehicles next fiscal, at least 20,000 would be Discover 125 CC, which is powered with tough engine and optimum combination of mileage and power at a price of Rs 45,392 (ex-showroom).

The discover 125cc is the third motorcycle to be launched by the company after the successful Discover 100 CC and Discover 150 models.
Claiming that the company is the second largest two-wheeler brand in the world, Guruprasad said over 40 lakh motorcycles of the Discover brand, launched in 2008-09, were on the road across the country.

The company has a market share of 27 per cent in the country and is witnessing a 2.6 per cent growth year-or-year nationally, while in Tamil Nadu it is registering 37 per cent growth, he said.

Launched in Kerala and Karnataka a couple of days ago, the vehicle would soon be launched in Maharashtra and Gujarat, and the rest of the country in a phased manner.
