For quite sometime i have been planning to start touring and last week casually when i met my friends we thought of planning to go pondi.My Dad was reluctant to allow for long drives but somehow i convinced him problem solved. Next problem: Before 2 days of our scheduled departure most of my friends dropped the plan because of very hot climate but i was not let down with this because of my touring dreams.Next day i started thinking myself what to do and finally decided to go Yelagiri.That day eve my bike got me some problems so again my ride was in a big doubt. I called my close friend who is interested in touring just like me and decided to go in his bike finally... Atlast am set to go ahead with my first lond distance drive excited and speechless....

I started to drive after 50kms of our ride. Well i drive almost 20kms in highway to my college daily but this was some different experience.NH4 was awesome to drive with good roads and cool views.As it was my first long drive i was cautious and didnt cross 75kmph but after some 30kms gradually i picked up the speed and cruised at 90 to 95 kmph for next 80kms.After 3hrs 30mins drive we finally arrived to Yelagiri Hills road. From there the views were just fabulous and i enjoyed every bit of it. While returning heat was killing us so we had to stop at regular intervals for refreshing. It was a ride to remember indeed and i got only one prob with the bike which luckily was solved on the way to hills..
