this is not the "bharat bike" ... is it?

and 48000 - 50000 price for this bike which looks so basic and for this looks......seems difficult for public to accept.

The front fairing like thing looks out of place. And the engine, it looks similar to the Discover150, albeit in white, along with the console. But wasn't this supposed to be priced at less than 40k as per initial reports?
I am hoping these new boxers are as rugged as the old one's. A cousin of mine still using his old BoxerAT at 2L Kms and still going strong.

This is an interesting move by Bajaj, may be they thought of profitability and adjusted price accordingly to 48-50k. It's a 150cc, so there is no harm in pricing it between 45-50k.

Mind you, here in Punjab Dhoodhwala's ride Slandered 350's This thing might be a alternative considering ~70Rs/litre petrol.

BTW isn't Splendor too at ~50k onroad now. (Is yes then pricing is not bad at all)

                  ha Ha,

btw why are launching so many 100cc bikes? disco, boxer and bikes like that,I know hero has this syndrome but still! could have made a clutchless bike(although it has smaller market)

for a 150cc bike this price seems to be ok BUT a doodhwala won't need a 150cc bike rather he'll look for a bike which returns better mileage figures probably a 100cc bike & apart from those doodhwala's if anyone will be looking for a 150cc bike then this thing doesn't have anything to attract that buyer cuz near about 50k, customers has several better options including Yamaha SZ..that's the point..who are the target customers for this bike? who will buy this?

Let's wait and see. Yamaha SZ might be there, but Yamaha is no match for Bajaj's rural reach, with all it's dealerships & finance options. A sturdy looking bike will certainly appeal to rural folk carrying loads and there is no dearth for them in this country.

SZ was an example for city riders..for rural area there's still splendor's..cd dawn..deluxe & all, they might not need a 150cc bike like this..Boxer in low cubic capacity segment with a price tag about 40k & its sturdiness makes much more sense to me..other then that let's see what response it'll get..
