And then came in the offerings from RaceConcepts.Mighty impressed with the Tuned R15's i ordered the FFE.
Delivery was delayed for almost an exhausting 6 months and i finally got it.Better late than Never.
I intend to go for the complete kit step by step and would use this thread to share my experiences.
1.Exhausted
So my first step was the FFE.Nothing new here in terms of looks. Its the typical RaceConcepts exhaust.Weighs hardly about 3 kgs i believe.
1.Installation
Pretty simple and straight forward. As usual it was a DIY job for me.
There are overall 5 bolts to be unbolted including the 2 to the head.Remember to place new Exhaust Gaskets.
The center stand doesnt need to be removed but it will bang on to the FFE every time.also the rear brake pedals rod is slightly under pressure being pushed a little by the FFE-it keeps scratching against it too.
2.Sound
Again its sounds petty much the same as the FFE's for the R15 & P220-Loud and basy
But this one comes with a DB Killer and boy its a blessing!
Cuts down the noise by at least 20%.at idle its pretty much silent and with a ralxed riding in the city it isn't all that noticeable!esp. next to the auto's.
5th gear @ 2.5k RPM its very very silent-idle for evading cops.
Im attaching couple of vids.It doesn't really show the difference though.

3.Performance
With the DB Killer i couldn't notice much of a difference at the low end/<5kRPM but at about 7k RPM there is a rush and it pulls much much better and red-lines much easier.
UPDATE-Rode yesterday without the DB Killer-its seems to pull better at lower revs at 5th gear and especially between 4.5-6.5k .there is a very nice increase in torque through out the rev-range!
Thats about it now.But ill be updating with my experiences soon.
PS-It dint come with any stickers :-\ :P
