  • Paddock for CBR 250R, Ninja and R15

    Hi fellow bikers,

I have created a Paddock stand that fits the Ninja as well as the Honda CBR250R perfectly.

Its an entirely DIY project, pictures are posted below

A few changes have been made to the stand after the pictures have been taken and more pieces have also been made for friends.

Comments, inputs and suggestions will definitely help

I don't think this will fit the new R15 with its aluminium swingarm huh?
Whereas it might fit the old one just fine. Just a guess though!

Shouldn't the bike rest on the stand on those bobbins and not the swing-arm?

The idea is awesome, but the Paddock looks pathetic, please paint it Green to match the bike.

Yeah most probably becouse the YAMAHA Paddock stand for V1 doesn't fit the V2 perfectly.

For the R15 we have 2 Paddocks, 1 each for the V1 & V2 and these fit in perfectly on both.

The cost for these paddocks comes to around 1900 including the Powder coat paintjob and all

Will try to see if I can post pics of the finished products soon

Best I can do is post the Drawings here, this was my first ever thread on xBhp, so at that time did not know much and never bothered myself with detailing my project.

A Few things have been changed since I first made this paddock for my bike, I have added Skate wheels in place of the L shaped supports for the Swing Arm, have got rid of the cross supports and have used much bigger pipes (initially used use a 1' Diameter pipe now using a 2' Diameter pipe). Also as you see in the Pictures in the 1st post itself I have not cut the pipe anywhere, its all been bend into a U shape and then upswing bend also. The angle between the Up arm and the base is also not 90% as shown in the diagram its actually around 70 you will have to do some experiments and see where your bike stays most stable.
