  • [Photo Feature]: My what-bike-is-this? motorcycle mod project...

okay ppl, i confess of that i had too much time on my hands, i had nothing to do, was just wrangling around town when i spotted a 1960s BSA , and as we all have a thing for classic motorcycles, and as we all have some distant and muted urges of going retro, at some point in our lives , my hands started itching (an empty mind, i tell you) to do something to my really anonymous looking commuter bike, as it would lay idle for the prime reason of not being flashy, also, i felt that something was to be done with all the leftover junked body parts from my restored bullet (tanks, side boxes, fenders, the works) so while my sensible side prompted me into selling those junked parts to some needy person, my 1950s "rockers" side prompted me to utilize those aformentioned parts on my done and dusted decade old commuter, and in this day and age, sensible and practical hardly stands a chance against the loud and reckless . No prizes for guessing who won, so i might as well cut to the photos of the finished bike itself

feel free to critique, and help me to further accentuate its looks

I gun the throttle, the motorbike wails, the forks heave up, the revs climb, my view blurs, air gushes in my lid, muscles tighten, street lights streak. Just another day at work...

@moderator noor- why did you categorise this post under thumpers, and exotics? this bike is just a modded 4 stroke commuter using thumper parts, this should appear in the pit stop....correct me if i am wrong?

That thing look good! Its a CRUX or its variant. A bit of detailing could have made it look like a neo-retro . For eg. the tank pads are located at an odd position.

@yamdoot- The holes on the tank didnt permit me to relocate those tank pads further back, so will have to get the hold sealed and another one bored into the tank, (actually m scared as will this damage ie leak the tank in any way if done)
