The CB tags are sole property of Honda hence the move.
So this is why i kept saying there is no way HMC will sell their own version of CBR 250R.
      Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

So what about splendor ,any name-change there?

Sad that the iconic name CBZ will be phased out.

But then Hero should ideally decrease the prices then since they no longer would be paying royalty to Honda -isn't it?

Nope, Hero will still be paying royalty as they are using Honda's tech in their bikes. It's just that they can't use the brands such as CD, CBZ now as they are Honda's property. Guess, Splendor/Passion has nothing to do with Honda, so there won't be a name change for them.

Extreme without CBZ written on Tank is actually looking good....Too much text & graphics on any bike just spoils the looks...

Naveen Thanks for the link ... The white Ignitor looks good..

Hero Moto Xtreme and HF Dawn, huh? What does HF mean? Hero Force?

I just can't digest the designing of "hero" brand on the bikes... It looks strange. Maybe we'll get used to it later on? As of now, it looks local.

People don't hit me for saying this. First of all I was never a Hero Honda fan and did not think much of their selling strategies (though their products are sound since they are Hondas after all) but after the campaign has been launched as Hero MotoCorp with the Rahman song, I am terribly impressed by the strategy that is being used by Hero MotoCorp to build the Hero brand. Those ads convey a certain warmth and a sense of being a part of something and that I am sure will help build the Hero brand, irrespective of how it may sound to petrol heads. The challenge will be in the longer term where they have to slowly start finding replacements for Honda technology. But I am sure impressed immensely by the branding strategy.
