  • Need advice for bike with a short height (5ft 5inch)

    Friends,

I am really frustrated in choosing my first bike due to my height. It is only 5 ft 5 inch.
Please suggest me some bikes according to my height.
    My height: 5ft 5 inch
    My age is 28
    My weight: 65kg
and I will be using this bike for office commuting (around 40km journey daily) Sometime single and sometime with wife.
My preference will be comfort then mileage and last look.
    My budget is upto 75K.

All suggestions are accepted except Bajaj models and Pulsars.

Guys please help me out as I can not go to test drive each and every bike for height test. Please help me to shortlist some bikes.

One more question, do the height of a person really matter while riding bike?

"While Riding" the height doesn't matter; however, it helps when the bike is standing still or crawling in a tricky stretch..

and I am not a tall guy either, a little taller than you are, but never faced any problems while riding any bike.

The Honda Unicorn is one of the most comfortable bikes around that suits your bill.

        Honda Unicorn
        -It is very comfortable,
        -It has a refined engine,
        -gearbox is butter smooth ,
        -has good mileage
        and
-Decent looks.(Much suited for office commuters)

Note-It is a bit heavy bike(compared to other bikes such as Apache, dazzler etc..),if you can manage it then go for it.

It suits your budget very well.

you may consider apache but its forward biased riding posture may not be upto your liking, but it is well suited for your height.you may also consider dazzler.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
          #overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

i ride an impulse,i am 5.4 and just 54 kgs and i dont at all feel it is high, Of course i have ridden higher bikes earlier but still impulse is a good choice, the suspension settles down smoothly after you sit on it and as you are a little taller and heavier than me, it will help you rest one full foot on the ground and its the most comfortable bike in terms of suspension.
Take a test drive and you shall know its Plus points.
