Nice initiative hmsi but wy did they not give body graphics as in previous generation dio which was sporty and very nice, an upgrade in front fork and optional disc would have been nice; priced competitively;btw that whats the wheel size of the new dioLast edited by raja_roadster; 02-02-2012, 10:00 PM.

I can see the entire Honda Scooter lineup getting down similar and similar with each update. The same 110cc engine, the CBS, etc.
Tubeless tyres and 3D logo being different from other Honda scoots is good. And, Its a good thing that Honda is updating its products regularly as we've seen recently, but isn't there supposed to be some sort of differentiation?
Yes, I think Dio should get telescopics so that:
Dio will have it,
Activa doesn't have it,
and Aviator buyers will have an option. All grounds covered (somewhat?).

honda needs to start concentrating on the affordable performance motorcycle market too!!!!!
it becoming more of a scooter brand than a motorcyle brand now

After the start of their new plant, the waiting period for the Activa has reduced drastically.. it is almost available off the shelf now.. the result for for all to see, HMSI has already overtaken TVS (for the 3rd position after Hero and Bajaj Auto) in the last couple of months in terms of 2 wheeler sales.
Come on, they have launched the CBR250R and will launch the CBR150R soon.Originally posted by revvhard View Posthonda needs to start concentrating on the affordable performance motorcycle market too!!!!!

The only reason I had to convince myself to go with the Dio was because it looks good but this one looks like it's for the 'uncle' kind!
But,having ridden the new Activa,I would be more than happy to see the awesome engine and wonderful seating position and legroom in the new Dio

Hi guys,
The new Dio looks really good in the Matt Axis Grey colour that they displayed at the Expo. Regarding the tubeless tyres, good technology but on closer inspection of the pic, only the front is MRF and the rear is of TVS
I think most of us know the after effects of having a TVS tyre. Hope they are not OEM suppliers for Honda now. Whatever handling Hondas had so far will be ruined.
Yes, rightly said, telescopic forks and discs on a deluxe variant would have made this scoot special. The rider doesn't pick the bike, the bike picks the rider

i shall believe in cbr 150 only when i shall see a something solid from honda itself and not jsut expectations from us enthusiasts, while all of us would love to see the cbr150 in india we have no solid news of it coming to india anytimw soon.Originally posted by payeng View PostCome on, they have launched the CBR250R and will launch the CBR150R soon.
i do appreciate the cbr250r but they also need a bike in the affordable performance bike section, yamaha has the fz, bajaj has the pulsar range, and tvs has the apache twins. Honda only has the dazzler in this section and it fails to impress in comparison to all the bikes that are competing alongside. they need something to replace the dazzler and give competition to other bikes tooLife should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! There are two brake cables connected to both the brake levers, 1 line is connected to the respective brake dat it is meant for and the other to the other brake.Originally posted by princesirohi View Postwhat is CBS - i guess it is a mechanical system, coz at this price, electronic system will not be feasible, it is some sort of system in which -if we apply one brake, other will be applied automatically. ????
notice two brake cables for front brake.
This way even if you press only the front brake lever it will result in both the brakes being applied making for a theoretically safer braking experience.Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow!
