i was amazed at why he would downgrade his current cubic capacity to that of 160. i double checked it, it was definitely a RTR 180 (the crankcase had "0E6" which according to the service manual said that it was of 180).it made me curious, as to whether the 160's Bore and Piston kit could be fitted onto the 180's without changing the Cylinder Head (i don't suspect that he changed it) and the crankshaft as the 180 has a longer stroke... the rear sprocket was of 180 (46T)...

could u guys be kind enough to throw some light upon this issue? as i couldn't sleep properly from the day i saw it... my mind has been bothering me as to how it would be possible...




i checked everything... from the rear fenders (which can't be fitted onto a 160) the rear disc setup, the tyres, the carburettor (mikuni BS29), the speedo, the handlebars, the front forks and rear shocks... and as i said, the Engine number started from "0E6" which is of RTR 180's...
