Day 1...

So Finally I was riding after 6 weeks but along with pillion. We started at 0430 hrs directly from our shift (Airoli MindSpace). Few hours before our ride, I read an post on fb of my friend (Anish Chauhan) that he is riding to Goa. So I called him and got to know that on 1st day he'll be riding upto Ratnagiri. We decided to meet at chai tapri opp. Datt Guru snacks corner (Panvel) by 0530 hrs.

Me and Sunil reached at 0515 hrs. Anish reached there by 0600 hrs but upon reaching he told us that he is riding to Goa on 1st day itself via NH4. After a lil chit chat session, we bid bye bye and wished luck for the rest of the ride.

Upon crossing Karnala Bird Sanctuary, suddenly the climate started to change. All I could see was just fog and at one point it was so dense that I could hardly see anything. It was almost 0 visibility. Just 15-20 mins had passed since we left from chai tapri and I wanted to stop and do some clicking. Let the pics speak out !!!

After munching around 150 kms, our tummies started to make strange noises. Oh yeah, we were hungry. Bhook bhagao break toh banta hai boss !!! I spotted an road side dhaba post Kolad. Had some yummy omlette pav and kanda poha. Few pics...













Our next halt was before the ascend of The Mighty "Kashedi Ghat"...

After crossing another major ghat, "Parshuram ghat", we badly needed an break after negotiating the corners. Spotted an road side tapri and sipped kokam sharbat and rested for around 1/2 hour before we proceed further...

Few more Pee and Water breaks and we reached Ganpatipule. Just 1 km before entering Ganpatipule...









Reached by 1400 hrs and booked an room in a lodge near temple. Our plan was to take rest only for 2-3 hours and then roam on the beach and get some shots of the sunset. So we parked ourselves on bed and woke up at 5, took a shower and went towards the beach. Well again, let the pics do the talking...

After returning back from beach we were hungry like mad dogs. Found an hotel which serves sea food but he told that the serving will start at 2000 hrs and it was 1930 hrs. Damn !!!

We returned to the lodge and came back to the hotel sharp at 2000 hrs. There were only 2 tables vacant by the time we reached. Grabbed an place and ordered the food. Our food arrived after 30 mins but the wait was worth. The food was superb, awesum, fingerlicking, etc etc. We enjoyed the food and you now enjoy the pics...
