  • Honda Dio(new) or Hero Pleasure or Honda Activa or Suzuki Access or TVS wego

    Hi,

I would like to gift a scooter to my wife and the following bikes are identified based on my priority.

    1. Honda Dio (new)
    2. TVS Wego
    3. Hero Pleasure
    4. Honda Activa
    5. Suzuki Access

Budget is not a constraint. Kindly suggest me a bike which has an alround performance with looks ( mandate).

How good is Dio against wego and pleasure?

    Thanks
    Chait

For me honda dio is best looker among these with sleek body.
It shud giv better mileage than activa as the engine is same in both, but dio weights less with fibef body.
I had booked white access for my dad, but got it cancelled and booked a grey mat finish dio. So even I can ride.
      Suzuki GS150R(Balck) 2009- 2012
Yamaha R15 V2(LE white) 2012 and Honda Dio V2 Matte

I would suggest to go for Activa.

Similar thread exists. Please search those. Do consider new Suzuki Swish. Don't go blindly with Hero or Honda. Others are good too.

125cc vs 110cc is a considerable difference. Ride both Access/Swish vs Activa/Dio back to back to see where you are comfortable. I liked the 125cc engine more for its peppyness. I am not that positive on Wego personally, but some people do recommend it.

Also, Access has a large petrol tank than others, so it means less trips to petrol pump

The new Dio is a good choice of all. Its an all-rounder in the group above. Looks good, lightweight, tubeless tyres (a big plus point), less maintenance, wide service availability, good fuel-efficient engine with good power.

Slight OT, but worth an information; I read the ads on the back of buses on Mahindra's challenge to test ride the new Duro & if you still buy some other scooter, they give you Rs 500. Wondering how genuine it is????

Dio , maestro and activa share same engine test ride all three and pick which suits you; wego too would be sensible choice, considering 0-60 acceleration wego outruns competition but lags behind in top whack and mileage

maestro has more torque than other two.
