Just waste of money. I am still to find a buy who will buy a bike just because Salman Khan endorses it. BS. And they are not a starters company either.
      Whats there in a signature?

IMHO, Suzuki doesn't need a brand or ambassador!!! They need wide spread dealer network + strong products. Compare their entry level offerings of Access 125, Slingshot, GS150R with their premium offering of Hayabusa, Gixxer 1000, Bandit & Intruder (2 editions), with such a portfolio offering, how can they expect to grow in a market that is full of people who look for great FE & VFM vehicles.

If I'm not wrong, Suzuki should be making more money with their premium offerings than their entry level segments in India.

Their rivalries are maturing to 200cc & above, while these people haven't crossed 150cc segment until now. And what's the theme for Slingshot? I seriously couldn't understand anything as what difference does it make as a product.

And if one looks at the top players...BAL & Honda (HMC eventually will fall into the same fate if they don't compete), both of them are expanding left & right, I mean, if left is towards more & more entry levels with great FE, 100cc segments, right is for affordable premium segment.

Though Suzuki has limited dealership, why not they concentrate on service? This is one area where HMSI (100% crap) & BAL are weak. That way, they can maintain excellent rapport with customer, offer limited products & sustain in long run, if at all they have their own constraints for launching new products.

Visit Suzuki India website...they've 6 premium offering compared to 5 entry levels, how can they make sales here without more entry level offering?

His fans will at least start taking Suzuki more seriously whenever they have to make a choice. For many, currently Suzuki is a written off motorcyle brand (I am not even trying to refer to super/ hyper bikes ).

While I agree that here in South Bollywood actors are not much of a charm, Salman Khan's fan following in other parts of India is too great to be ignored

Chulbul Pandey is "Dabaang"/Macho "desi" style for the masses. Expect the Hayate 110 to make an appearance in "Dabaang 2"

He is obviously appealing himself to the family audience.

Took a while for me understand Chulbul Pandey is his name in the movie Dabaang , though I'd watched some part of it...unfortunately

Mass could buy these bikes out of fantasy, but, the reality will strike only to find the distance of service centers.

Unexpected comment. Hayabusa or for that matter any SBK doesn't need to be promoted. It's target audiences are well aware of the SBKs.

Just because he is the "official hunk/punk" he must promote Hayabusa!!

But I do believe that it will do good for the Hayate

                            Totally agreed with Rx here.

Instead of going for Salman Khan's brawns, Suzuki should flex their grey matter towards developing better Suzuki bikes for Indian market. Currently, the company doesn't hold any chance in the 100-150cc segment against competitions from Hero, Bajaj and TVS and also from Yamaha. Amazingly enough, Suzuki India is surving just on the basis of it's imported bikes sales (and boy are they selling Busas or what!!). It's a pitty that the makers of the legendary Busa cannot come up with a good enough package in the 100-150cc segment.

Its the Access scooter which is Suzuki's best seller in India. Along with Activa's the Suzuki scooter is seen in large number in cities like Bangalore, Pune.
