  • Could two fellow xbhpians help me choose between the P220 and the Fazer?

    Hello,

I live in Vashi, and am very (understatement) confused between the P220 and the Fazer. I know, they are different classes of bikes and all. The class does not matter to me, its just the joy and the feel that the bike gives off, that is important. Anyway, the reason I am posting this is:

I was not able to get a satisfactory test ride of either of the P220 or the Fazer. I was only allowed to ride inside the showroom premises, and hence I have no experience of the bike above 20 kmph.

I have read the comparisions, the ownership experiences, random threads on this and various other sites. I just have a lot of "knowhow", and no way of actually verifying what I have read. Having said that, could some fellow members allow me to ride their bikes, to help me arrive at a conclusion? I know, this is pretty much out of the ordinary, and you might not have had such a request before.

I would be eternally grateful, if anyone just helps me out! Please relpy or PM me, if you would love to help me out

    Thank you!

Do elaborate on how your usage will be once you get your bike. (City % usage, Highway % usage, Your Height, Weight, Build, Pillion %)
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Thanks antz.bin! It will be used as a commuter on weekdays. A daily round trip of 12 kms aprox. On weekends, I plan (and want) to just roam and visit nearby places. There might be the odd 400 km round-trip home, to Nashik, or Pune.

I am 5'8" tall when standing and 5'8" long when sleeping. (:P) I weigh under 72 kgs. Pillion, if ever will only be in the city ride. Dont see a pillion on trips.

I forgot to mention in OP, that I will be responsible for any damage that might happen while I am handling your baby.

      Thanks for reading!
