  • Upgrade from P220 DTS-Fi To Honda CBR 250 - Confused ?

    Hey

    I own a Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi and have completed 22k Kms on it,i use it for daily commute to my college and around the city since i am a student i don't ride much (usually 10-15 kms a day),

    I have shortlisted :

    Honda CBR 250 (Confused ?)
    Yamaha R15 V2.0 (Heard pillion seat is not so comfortable so knocked it out of my list)
    KTM Duke 200 (Not a big fan of naked bikes)

    My budget is around 2L and i probably will end up buying C-ABS version but little confused as i have heard there are many more new bikes coming this year so not sure whether CBR 250 will be a perfect choice at this point of time and not regret later seeing new bikes of same category...

    Please help me out and also if you suggest CBR 250 kindly let me know the colour you would choose if you were me

    Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

    Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

      Talking of new bikes, will be new launches, but very few can match the VFM of a CBR250. The "rumoured" Pulsar 375 may bring some serious performance at great VFM, but we are still unsure of the launch. The Duke390, again is a naked bike best suited for streets. The Ninja 300 will be helluva expensive. Hyosung GT250 is expected to get cheaper later in the year. Suzuki is coming up with a 250cc, but again, it will be a naked bike. I guess a CBR is the best bet at 2Lacs, even today!

      2 months ago, I bought a red-and-silver CBR250 after considering all the color options. You could wait for the 2013 colors (red-black combo and full black). Please note that the White-Blue-Red tricolor has now been discontinued.

      Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

            @Raul:
            Here're 2 pics comparing the old and the new colors. The HRC (Repsol) may be launched later or may not come to India at all.
