    Assam to Bhutan on Motorcycles

    Hi everyone, we are looking for info about the shortest route to Bhutan from Dibrugarh District of Assam for a motorcycle tour.

      Thank for the approval. There are three routes to get into Bhutan by road. Phuentsholing, Gelephu & Samdrup JongkharThe primary route is Phuentsholing. We are planning to visit Bhutan in our next roadtrip called " Bikers Of Assam Maha Roadtrip 2 - International "

        From what i have heard it is the easiest to enter Bhutan from Phuentsholing. You then head to Para/ Thimphu where you get permits to travel further in. But the best roads are not easily accessible, you need to hire a guide and take along, that road will get you back out in Assam. Can't remeber the names though.

            Even we are planning to enter via Phuentsholing and visit Paro, Thimphu & Punakha. We will exit via Gelephu. Really dont want to take a guide along. Will plan it out, prepare our map, find places to stay & lets explore.

                  B0ATC means Bikers Of Assam Touring Club. Regarding to the attitudes there is a saying " people are like motorcycles each is customized a bit differently ". I belive every rider of our group is very cool and friendly. Either you dont know our members or there is some misunderstanding. As far as I know there is no route to Bhutan via Arunachal Pradesh moreover I would like to clarify that we have done many roadtrips to Arunachal and found the people very friendly.
