No speculation on this thread. Only concrete news. Anyone with concrete news? Where are our journalists? Where is LP? And what is MG doing? Somebody come up with some good news (or bad news).
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

i saw the ninja 250 here in saudi at the showroom a few days ago
man it looks small here i guess the only bikes one sees are the 600 and 1000,s

though in india i would have been drooling over it. it is selling here for 18000sr or about 2.16 lakh rs. it seems it is a learning bike here in saudi. seesh

at 2.16lakh in saudi anthing close to that in india would be a steal.

well i had read somewhere (not sure of the source though) that ninja 250r 2008 has been discontinued in the US and that bookings for 2009 has already started which costs bout $500 more. so guess maybe thats what is holding up the ninja.. maybe bajaj wants to launch with the 2009 version instead the 2008 which we have been hearing off.. could someone throw some light on this..

hmmm i will find out whether they sell the carb or FI

but as far as i think it must be the FI version
i wont think of the dodo mechs here playing around with the carbs

Yupp ! the 2008 version is discontinues, 2009 version is available in stock around the world !! upgrade :: only price and nothing else

I even read news about lime green being discontinued. I guess Lime Green is available only as a limited edition. There is even a Limited Edition Diablo Black available !!

Got no details on when it is available in india, but I am sure it will cost a bomb.. 2,16 else where, when comes to India should be abt 2.5 to 2.75 !! Hold your breath, I hear it is going to have atleast 60% localization .. i dont know how far it is true, but i am not speculating !!

But, can I speculate that if these specs () were to be true and held alive while it rides into India, BIKERRS, let's get ready to receive a legend. parallel-twins, double-discs, 250cc, liquid cooled, FI.

With respect to the other parts of the world, these are factors the current Indian Biker craves for (At least I do). So, I see a tourer-cum-performer.

Lets keep fingers crossed and get ready for a major clash as you might have noticed that BAL has been silent for quite some time now, and Mr Bajaj is not someone who takes defeat. At least, for what he has proved (once upon a time, since most of the old Pulsars have begun to give in already )
