well guys finally my long wait for the superbike has ended

it took me one whole year of struggle but yeah i finally made it. i initially and always wanted the GSXR 750 and most of my queries on the site have been on the bike. infact i even paid the suzuki guys a downpayment for the next shipment was was due in aug 1st week. but alas it wasnt meant to be. they kept on delaying it and still no chance of getting it before oct end. so finally i took my advance back went to kawasaki and got a wonderful deal on the 10r . i didnt wanna start on the litre bike but hey i guess fate had another thing set for me.

but then there is a small sad news i couldnt get the bike registered in time for eid holidays and now i can only go to the showroom sit on it start it rev it drive within the compound and leave. but hey i console myself by saying summer is still around. the weather is imporving and in another week or so the riding season should start. so hopefully in by then i will has my bike registered.

i must thank haroonbhai (xbhp id haroon) for helping me since the past year in everything from getting my liscence made to making trips to showrooms to negotiate prices to free couriering from damm to jedd . thank you bhai.

please excuse the pics as i am not very good with a cam and all pics were around 2 mb size somehow resized them but lost the pic size. i am really bad at this. i took 2 rounds outside the compound on the highway and man the bike rocks. alas i cant give a detail ride report since its just a couple of kms.

however somethings i noticed or did

1- first ride i drove it just sped to 125kmph second ride to 144kmph its too difficult to keep within 100 the guy tells me dont worry about breaking in just rip it.
2- filled it with 95oct got a full tank in 7 rs or about 84rs hehehe
3- 1st gear makes a huge thud sound when engaging quite scary
4- other gear shifts also make sounds
5- temp rises quite high ive gone upto 99degrees. is this normal.
6- the first time i drove i had some pain in the wrists but now no more.
7- the silencer is the weakest part of the bike. for a guy who wanted an inline 4 soo badly would be dissapointed its good has that effect but quite muted looking to change need adivce on good aftermarket exhausts and does any changes have to be made to the ECU

ill keep on adding more points and things as i remember
the roads in saudi are the best for a sbk open clean wide roads and best of all very relaxed mamus.

Congrats pal for your new acquisition
The wait was worthwhile ain't it
But I do not agree with the breaking-in thing, pal. Every bike needs proper breaking-in. Since we being new to these bikes we wouldn't realize what harm ripping the bike, in the run-in period, has done.
Only when the bike gets old and we get used to of it, we would realize the damage.
So be careful about that Don't get too carried away Ride safe

Absolutely lovely, I am a sucker for kwackers!

As for the exhaust you can just swap it, you dont have to make any changes whatsoever. (Unless you're running it on a PowerCommander in that case you can load a new map to get more rwHP)
Locking the front and flipping is the worst experience you could err experience.

Congratulations on getting the 08'10R! You are now into the big league..But why a blue, and not the 'Ninja Green', I cannot help but wonder..

And a full tank of 95 octane for just Rs.85/-!!?? You lucky dawg.. As for the sound when engaging first gear, it's pretty normal..

Congratulations once again for the 10R. Keep us all updated with subsequent ride reports, would appreciate that.
