    "Tour de Kutch":Mumbai-Ahmedabad-Kutch(14th-16th Nov)

    Posting on behalf of Spiderweb

    Date: Friday 14/11/2008
    Time: Leaving in the morning at 5:00 a.m from Andheri or Bandra (Decide a common meeting point)
    Distance: Mumbai to Ahemdabad > 561 kms.
    Ahemdabad to Kutch > around 100 kms. more.
    total > Nearly 1300+ kms. (to n fro)

    Plan: Leaving on 14th morning (friday), night stay depending on our location. Reach Kutch on 15th, Roam around (sum thrilling time with our Babes n Cams) n start journey back, night stay depending on our location. Reach Mumbai on 16th (sunday)... REST!
    Max speed should be around 70 km/ph.
    Pune guys can also join in as well...

    Cost: Around Rs.1000 excluding petrol, when 5 riders or plus.

    Pre-requisites:

    1) Every biker should carry the following papers:
    a. RC Book copy
    b. Insurance Policy copy (valid)
    c. PUC Certificate (valid)
    d. Driving Licence (original)
    (These documents will be checked before we leave for the ride, please do not fail to miss out on any of them)

    2) Things to carry with you:
    a. Toolkit
    b. Bottle of water
    c. Tubeless puncture kit (incase you are rolling on tubeless tyres)
    d. Extra cash of about Rs.500 for yourself incase of any emergency

    3) Riding gear:
    a. Helmet (ISI/DOT/ECE approved) (rider and pillion both)
    b. Full-sleeve Jacket (preferabley a riding jacket or a rainy jacket/
    windcheater)
    c. Gloves
    d. Full length pants (jeans or trousers.... no flesh should be seen)
    e. Boots/Shoes (no chappals or floaters)

    Hmmm...I would have preferred somewhere up north...it's cold getting cold there and I like sub zero temperatures! But anyway, I wish all those who join this plan a Very Happy and Safe Trip. Enjoy people!!!

      OH is that it!!! u like sub zero temperature...take the bike and ride to kashmir or sikkim...what the hell are u doing here...kutch in the night would be very cold.

      People dont forget to carry wollen....

      @Spiderweb: Friday leave early morning from "Fountain Hotel" @ 5am and reach kutch by evening. Max kms one way is 650 kms only on a very beautiful 4 lane highway. Probably we can visit kutch and also ride further into Rajasthan. Razor was of the opionion to ride to Rajasthan on 3 day ride..so i think will do that if time permits...

      Map dont worry its in my brain...so i can take you there without a problem. let me see where can i find a map...

          I am in too .... ADD my name ... last time it was not added for some reason ...
          i hope there will be plenty of breaks.. did lonavala and back home non stop alone yesterday .. think i can take this long ride... with breaks ofcourse.
          looking forward for the ride.

              I am in..
              A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

              Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

                Nice initiative Rohit and Anup.... !! the plan looks to be good.....but to my bad i wont be in pune only...travelling outside of pune on 10th itself...

                    Damn.. i cannot make it in those dates. Already applied for leave on 28/29th Nov.. again im gonna miss a good trip ..ahhh. i hate this..

                        I dont hav any problem going furthur. coz currently am on break from my job, searchin fer a better one so i hav all the time in the world rite now.

                          @ Rohit : Full on publicity(of the ride) mein lag gaya hai....different different threads pe iske references post kar raha hai.....

                          Anyways, its good yaar....attract more ppl into this...the more the merrier(but then will have to be more careful while riding in a BIG group....managing all that is pretty difficult )

                          I m travelling to my home town(delhi) dat time .... so wont b available here...!!

                            n publicity! man after so long am back to all this n i really want some
                            distractions from all dat happened in last four months in my Lyf .
                            (told you about dat i guess, rite)
                            So around 10 guys wont be a bad idea i guess, LOOKS GOOD I
                            GUESS... hehe
                            n just in case, cancellations happen, so want to keep backup so the
                            tour should not get cancelled...
                            like last time... the Harihareshwar one! i was damn excited abt dat na!

                              saturday i had went with my family to Daman(NH8)....the roads are really good!!!
                              i hope i make up for dis plan.......hope my bike gets ready before 14th
