  • Greenfly - LPG powered Yamaha XT500

Dave Akhurst engineered and built his own motorcycle that runs on LPG from a Yamaha XT500. A high-pressure tank holds the LPG under the rider and the 500cc single cylinder engine reportedly gets about 70 miles per gallon of LPG and makes about 30 horsepower. There's lots more to take note of here, including the single-sided swingarm and fork, automatic transmission with belt drive, hand-made body bits and panniers and awesome 3-piece custom wheels. This is some seriously good craftsmanship. And a spare wheel too

nice concept but the design is little weird to my taste. but the wheels look good.

front head light looks like wall-e. if its only on lpg then he could have done away with that tank think and put some other design innovation

WOW !!! Mono-shox at front, a weird fork and an additional tyre. Much more than just LPG powered bike.

its brilliant and weird n whacky too, styling is overly done.spare rim/tyres reminds me the yezdi/jawa with spare tyre at crashgaurd's place.

when it is coming to india, may be in 3020.
