18, when i got my cbz-xtreme, im not kidding.

i loved the feel of a bike so much more than my scoot, that in the next one year and 6 months i have done 33k kms on her

my roomie taught me to ride. but i bettered him later

I was 18 and it was a 95' Suzuki Shogun. I happened to buy it from a Doctor who was completely pissed off with the bike due to its "low mileage" .

I started riding My HH Passion when i was 16 years 9 months old. But the mileage i done in the very first year was hardly 1500 kms, as i was not very keen on riding without valid driving licencse. An Xbhpian in making.

I did not face any problem while learning a geared bike the only issue that I faced was getting a scooter back in neutral.

Upgrading from a Hercules Top Gear, the 7.3 Bhp increment was quite something.
The brakes were the most impressive aspect of the upgrade. For once, i could actually stop when i saw a pedestrian running across the road looking in the other direction
And in Bangalore, such pedestrians can be found at every intersection...
