  • Bike for my father

My father wants to upgrade his bike form Suzuki Max 100 to some higher power bike.

Can you guys suggest good bikes for him from 125/150CC segment?

He is 5'5". He is particularly inclined towards the HH bikes. Can you guys suggest the best bike from HH or other company?

Ride nature: Mostly City riding with or without pillion.
Requirements: low maintenance, good average, reliable and most important sober looks.

    Thanks.

Platina 125 is a good bike and 150 is Unicorn
Never upgrade without getting your basics RIGHT.

Im sure your dad's requirements go beyond what you've spec'ed man.
Its best that you talk to him and finalise the budget constraints as well. Depending on the money he's willing to spend, ask him to take a test ride of all the bikes that fall within budget and then take a decision...

Talked to him .. anything upto or around 60k is fine.
Will ask him to test ride few of them, I was just looking for that filtered list to be tested.

I sort of got a hint for that list:

                    125 CC
                    Platina 125
                    Shine
                    XCD
                    Super Splendour
                    Passion Plus

                    150 CC
                    Unicorn

Bajaj XCD seems to be really small .. smaller than current Max100 too ..

Since you have mentioned in your query that he favours HH bikes, i'd suggest tagging alongwith him to a HH showroom and pointing out the bikes that are in the list.

He can then take a test ride of the bike that he likes. Once you post his choice, im sure us xBhpians can assist in the decision

                      Cheers..!!

P.S : Do keep in mind the resale advantage that HH bikes seem to command...

I suggest suzuki zeus its very easy to ride in traffic considering its max.torque produced at just 3500rpm...so no need of frequent gear shifts...
also as ur dad is upgrading from a 2-stroke he wil be finding easy to ride this bike....even the mileage figs, handling, ride quality are pretty decent...even pillion comfort is very good on this bike..
