Looking at your budget, the first bike that comes to my mind is the Pulsar 200. But, since you don't intend to really go for the 'Pulsar' brand, perhaps, the FZ-16 would also be a tremendous buy.

    Think about it.

I agree with Aryan as my cousin bought FZ about 4 days ago and realy its a good looking fresh looking bike and its handling is really very good because i own a pulsar 180 and I can say that. On road price is Rs 69200/-

All the best for your new bike....

Budget: All 150cc and P180 & RTR come under your budget range, so probable pics are Unicorn, CBZ Xtreme, Hunk, Suzuki GSR150, RTR, P150..and Am i missing any?

Since you dont want pulsars, Left with RTR, Uni, CBZ, GSR and Hunk

Mileage: As per my experience order goes like this Uni/CBZ/Hunk fall almost nearby to each other, RTR less than the previous 3, GSR..holds 6th gear. Expect more mileage than other 3.

Ride Comfort: Uni/GSR/CBZ/Hunk (comfy for long rides) all are almsot equivalent, RTR has sporty stance. May not be that comfortable compared to other 4.

Top speed: Uni/GSR/CBZ/Hunk ... almost all have same topend wtih CBZ's nose ahead of other...RTR is way faster than all other bikes mentioned here. No idea abt GSR

        Handling: RTR > Uni > Hunk/GSR > CBZ

Vibrations: Uni > CBZ > Hunk...no idea abt GSR.

So considering all other features....Suzuki GSR appears to be apt buy for you...with loaded features and decent looks and bit different from other 150cc's....else CBZ/Hunk/Uni almost are similar.

I dint consider FZ here because....70K budget (its costs 74K in my city) and topspeed. I have gut feeling that FZ has less topend when compared to ther 150cc.

Max of 70k...hmmm...Most of the good one's removed...

There are two bikes in my opinion
            1) Honda Unicon
            2) Suzuki GS150R

Out of this i will say Suzuki more coz i think it has some more new features when compared to Unicon... In reliability Uni has shown its excellence... so it's up to u...

And also take test drive if u r intrested in a 125cc bike - Gladiator SS... My friend own it and i like to drive it... worth for Money...

                Hello guys,

                thanks for your replies....

@Aryan: yeah i am thinking about FZ, but i have read say many reviews which says no top speed at all. So bit confused. If it had bit more power i would have definatly gone for it with my eyes closed. but now gotta think twice.
@Nightwing : i know Unicorn is still has one of the best(Indian) refined engines around but isnt it old.they dont have many features like others do.
I think now I am stuck between FZ and GS150 .
Which one i should go for?.

Yeah Aryan its an typing mistake. Pulsar.. Thanks for correcting.

And i have one more question. Is the p200 that good?. I mean what about the vibration and all?. i have read that performanc wise its a really good bike. but i really dont know what to expect from bajaj.because i have the experience with both p150 and p180. And its not so good.(Vibrates a lot at high speed ).

FZ struggles a lot after 80-85... so if you plan on riding it often at speeds higher than that, it's definitely not recommended.

P200 is great but Pulsars are so damn common that I'd not pick them for just this reason alone (and also maintenance problems with Bajaj).

No idea about GS150R since its a very new bike, but already seeing owners report a fair amount of problems in the ownership thread.

Consider RTR as well... exceptional handling, fastest in the ~150cc segment (excluding R15 of course :P) and decent mileage (50-55 kmpl). Now about vibrations - they're there in all bikes at certain rpm range, but the vibrations feel a bit stronger on the RTR, that's it. Past this rpm range, its a great ride

Both the Fz and GS have yet to prove their mettle in the long term and both are equally good in their own way. If you like the looks of the Fz and you run around mostly in the city and want loads of torque on tap go for the Fz.
Else if you like to trod along munching miles touring lazily with 50+ mileage then GS150 is for you. Not to mention it has the exclusivity factor.

The P200,in my opinion,is the most refined of the Pulsar family.Does this answer you doubts?
(I havent ridden the P220 so apart from that.)

Vibrations are a part of Bajaj Bikes, still P200 is the most refined Bajaj bike out there..
