  • Help me in Chossing the bike ( List is big )

I am in disarray sort of thing. Please help me guys.
I am not able to select the right bike for me. I am thin as you can see in the avatar. Due to this i am unable to select the right bike which suits me.

Here is my list. Please select the right bike. The bike must be reliable in every aspect.
    1. R15
    2. ZMA
    3. 220

I heard that on long rides the ZMA is cosy compared to the R15 is that correct ?? I think ZMA lacks in pick up compared to that of R15. Donno why but i feel that.

coming to mileage around 40 is acceptable as these mean machines give that sort of mileage.

    Waiting for your valuable replies.

    Regards
    ketan

    Topic Approved.

You have practically included all the leading names in your list of choices! But, since your main confusion is between the Karizma and R15, I would personally suggest you the Karizma, if you are looking for good touring and smooth engine (not that the R15 is any less!). Or if you are looking for a out an out sports machine (from an Indian perspective, mind you), get the '15!

If budget is not a problem go for the R15. Else Zma.

If it s R15, u have to change tyres/disc pads earlier than you would do in a Zma.

Also u have to take real care of the chain as it is an open type. Every 250 kms or so, u should clean it and lube it to keep it in good shape.

Also getting used to the riding position takes some time, more so if this is ur first bike.

Coming to mileage, u will get figures around 40 consistent with the R15, the Zma would give u just a tad little lower.
When everything comes ur way, u r in the wrong way ;)

Go ahead for the R15.......if 220 & ZMA don't suits ur build........
The upcoming Apache RTR 180 Menace would also be a good option.

Srihas, you can also wait for the new P220.

One small question. Have you test rode all these bikes??

Instead of asking others which bike is comfortable for you, just ride these bikes first and you can ask any clarifications.

Word on the street is that a new P220 is going to come in a month or so. You can also wait for RTR180.

If you want best riding posture and want the reliable engine, nothing beats karizma. The best for long tours.

The list you have provided is good and is the most talked and debated also among our biking enthusiasts for the past few months. As you yourself had said about your size factor, I think The R15 would be suitable for you being a light weight bike with good handling, provided you got that heavy pocket for that bike. . Meanwhile if you got time to wait for the upcoming rumoured launches like new P220, Zma, P200, RTR180 or even CBR150r :O then wait to prepare a new and updated list

                              Drop zma from your list.

age old engine (hence has to be reliable) and everything from head to tail.....a simple screw to the piston costs a BOMBBB.....
to the top of it, if you get milege in the range of 32-33kmpl, consider yourself extremely lucky....

                              among r15 and p220....

                              both have absolutely different characters

considering your not-so- healthy physique, r15 would be a better buy, it being just 126-127kgs and absolutely feather light handling makes it a breeze anywhere you ride

p220 is an out-and out screamer which unleashes its truck loads of torque the moment it comes to life!

Best would be to test drive all the bikes yourself and make an informed decision based on your own priorities and comfort....!

                              All the best...
