Maybe when I afford a track day and full riding gear , I might take it up once more in the future (once i get a job ) . Not in India, anyways. It was nice hanging around these forums . Bye bye !

I give up biking in India . yes, i am pussy.
As exciting as it may be , the injuries and the time and money lost are not worth it . India has shit roads with thousands of random variables where anything can go wrong at any time , including my riding mistakes . Screw this . Henceforth , my bike is gonna be used for pure commuting purposes ; not sporty commuting either . No more leaning , no more heavy front braking .

If I am not mistaken, he was manhandled by a couple of goons in Pune. I do not blame him to be in a shocked frame of mind for a couple of days...
But dude...once a biker, always a biker...no matter what you decide, if you have it in your blood, you will be back
Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

Take a chill pill man!
You spent 8.5K to fix ur bike. I spent 3 times more to fix myself up post a crash few years ago! doesn't mean i give up on my life! Because i wrecked myself and my ride? And had to spend so much to fix everything up.
And so you got into some bad sh*t with the wrong guys, its over now and your here safe and sound and your wounds will heal in time.
Give yourself some time. With life sh*t happens mate! But when its over it gets better than it ever was before.
Someday you'll have a boss who hates you even if you were good at what you do. Don't tell me you will go home, crying to your mom and quit your job? Or stay in there and do something about it? You cant just quit what u love or like doing just because of a few set backs.
Suffice to say, dude don't be depressed if you are Go and ride some, be confident and then be happy about it!
Time will heal all your wounds, physical and mental and while it does do what it does best... i hope it gives you some hope that there are better things in store for you .
Don't give up ever up and run. Let that apply to all aspects of your life, including riding your bike!
Running away from here wont do u any good and neither will waiting for that perfect day to come. Now is here and so are u. So make the best you can with it!

As a biker, I've given you my 2cents!

^^right on brother!
@Gore: Dude, im sorry you had to go through such a harrowing night on one of our roads. But such things although life-threatening is in fact quite the opposite. It helps you learn and grow.
Lastly, all we can do is make the smart choices. For example, challenging every thing wrong thing in this world is not always called for. Sometimes you need to the bigger man. Just like we do with goons who provoke you into street racing.
All the best for life buddy.
