My vote will go for the p220 dtsi as it offers great value for money with good, looks great performance where it could lack is build quality and the handling cannot comment yet as I am yet to ride one. Next option would be anyone of the FZ series the positives of which are phenomenal looks and handling, it feels like it was custom built for a city with the negatives being it's not fast on a straight line. I personally am not too big a fan of the Karizma and the RTR 180 somehow lacks the X factor and does look a lil puny.

i suggest u go for the new apache rtr 180 good looks and solid performance...karizima aint coming for the next 2 months and it will be priced near r15..since you havent mentioned the r15 in your list i think its out of your budget then so does ZMR...fazer and FZ both have killer looks but average performance...regarding fastest indian outdated looks but freshed up with better performance...so RTR

'You are not a big fan of Karizma' means?? Will this mean Mr. Ankur should not consider Karizma because you do not personally like it?

Karizma FI will definitely have more than 19 bhp power. With the famous PGM-FI technology, it would be very nice to ride than Fazer and RTR180. Even the current Zma is better than FAzer and RTR180 (I am not speaking about those new technologies, monoshox, digital speedo etc.)

RTR 180 is good on performance front, but it will have vibes at higher rpms. The Fazer though looks stunning and has all goodies, it still has a 150cc mill, which cannot be compared with any of the above three bikes. It is purely your choice. Test ride all of them and decide.

                      That is pure speculation.

That "would be" is pure speculation too!

If you are not talking about monshocks, better frames, shorter strokes with higher revving engines, digital consoles with memory of top speeds, forged pistons, softer rubbers, then in which way is the Zma better? -- I am saying this for argument's sake for the person to consider all aspects.

Note: With due respect to you, we know that you adore your Zma. But please do refrain from speculation that might influence the other person's decision. And if you are speculating, you can put forth as such stating clearly that this is pure speculation since nothing has been declared or launched as yet concerning the new ZmR. Thanks for your comprehension.

well said Mr. cool. Everybody loves their own bike. I love my old RX and 180 cl more than any other two wheeler in this country. That does not mean it is better in reality or practicality.

Wait for the new zma , when a 6 yr old zma is still good and stands contention.

i feel wait another month and ride the new zma and then take decision.

RTR- lots of Fun to ride , but not really meant for the highway(comfort wise).
                              Zma-ancient but 1 amazing machine.
220- vfm, packs lots of torque with minimal refinement compared to the other contenders.
. I dont see nothing really great in that bike from the 220 FI that everyone goes ga-ga over it . +5 top whack aint the criteria for me.Handling aint that really great . But a good buy over all.
Fazer or fz- Best lookers in town , but its an all show and no go bike from yamaha.
If u are a city rider , then its for u , has the comfy and ok ok ish power with great handling to commute u through the city.

wait for the new zma , may be good or bad , but u wouldn wanna get something now in a hurry and a better bike pops up.

Pick a bike with a balance between good torque , decent braking and acceleration.

All the best in whatever u pick.
