  • wonder how good are we with other fellow bikers

Have we ever thought about other fellow bikers or commuters on the road, we like to put fancy things in our bike like those neon headlights driving at high beam which hurt other bikers eyes, horrible sounding horns which disturb other people in the traffic or people who like to enjoy driving, and increase noise pollutions. how many bikers are there who like to smoke when they drive giving those ash from the cigarettes to the person following behind us who doesnt have a pair of glasses to protect their eyes, putting silencers which irritate, turning just on the right or left without indicators or signals and putting the behind person in trouble.how many times we see people meeting with accidents or are in trouble like flat tyre or fuel over problems and we turn a back on them.

Are these any good and matured biker signs.

How would you feel if you are the one facing all this consequences which we give to others.

I feel every person should be equally responsible to remember that one should always respect the commuter, the nature so the biker inside us can live life kingsize.

@shrinathrao: Most of us here do care about these things, but it really hurts when we find others so insenstive. I wonder why it happens only in our country, I have been in Japan&never found any such things happening there. I don't wanna go into the details, but I think this thread should come out with a message to all those who are caring&sensitive for other vehicles&people on the road, please don't get irked by the lack of civic sense of people/callous approach to rules&start doing the same yourself, thinking if no one does, why should I?
Just continue to be the way you are, someday hope people will start changing too!

Adding to this even rash driving and high speeds in traffic is also very irritating.

I hope everyone will abide by good civic and traffice sense.

Well described & actual problem that we face.
In fact, I'm fed up of those guys in cars not giving dippers. Seriously, I feel that nobody taught them anything.

I can't see anything especially when helmet lid is closed. I know its transparent, but it becomes somewhat translucent at night.

              Any actual solutions guys?

also, liking overtaking from left side. Also doing annoying stuff like trying to bend and line in heavy traffic....Moreover most people, let the guy be driving a bike or car, do not have a clear idea about the usage of high beams and low beams....its really irritating at night times....I would say its good to have a practise of switching to high beam if and oly if, there is no vehicle in the vicinity of atleast a 25m / atleast a logical distance which will not hurt the other vehicles....it all a good practise to have mods and DIYs as they show the creativity of the person, but using those in a wrong way is the worse.....

IMO the point of the topic is that people will read through it, and if atleast one person feels it and follows the above said suggestions as well the more to come, then it is a real help......

this mean neither of them are wearing helmets(or may be half face)... makes it more complex...isn't?

the most common riding/driving etiquette we don't follow is to use dippers at all times, which is so easy to adopt and execute really.

I treat the fellow bikers with utmost respect. But the same cannot be expected from them. I had to suffer at most times due to the mistake of others.
