my first ride....

My dream is a Bullet Standard 500cc cast iron Engine. This week, my dream turned into reality.

I drove out of my mechanic's with a 4 year old beauty , that should not have been sold and i fell in love once again.....

Man this beast is amazing!!! from the first time i turned the accelrator, i was moving around in a world of my own , where all the other bikes were around playing supporting roles.......

I have seen descriptions of rides to far far places on this site, unfortunately, i have not started these as yet. my bull is 5 days old and i have not been able to take him out for a long ride yet.
However, i have already done 550 kms of City driving already.


This post is for those who have been cribbing on the difficulties of driving in the city with the bull. i have seen people saying the great difficulties that they face in moving the beast in congested roads etc. Bollocks! i took my bike out of the service centre ( sameer 's ) in Mahim and drove to Thane on the first day . Please bear inmind that this is the first time i have ever ridden the bullet with the left side break, the ride was smooth as silk. driving in traffic and manouvering in the city is a breeze with this monster.

Of course , i had a few issues to start off , mainly due to the false neutrals, but in 10 mins flat, i was weaving in and out of traffice with ease. the baby works on mind control !!!!!

People familiar with Mumbai , will agree that the traffic snarls are probably theworst in the chembur area, driving this monster was superb even in bumperto bumper traffic.

my driver was following me in my corolla in case i had any problems, but he was left standing in traffic while i throttled ahead. if nothing else, the heads that turned on hearing the irrepressible thump added to the traffic woes that day.
